Whole Grilled Fish with Fresh Avocado Salad

Ingredients:
For the Fish:

1 whole fish (like sea bream or snapper), cleaned and gutted

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 lemon, sliced into rounds

1 teaspoon minced garlic

Optional: fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary)
For the Salad:

1 cup mixed greens or arugula

1/2 avocado, diced
-
5–6 cherry tomatoes, halved

A few thin slices of red onion

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Grill the Fish:
Score the fish on both sides and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices and herbs. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill fish for about 10–12 minutes per side, depending on size, until flesh flakes easily. -
Make the Salad:
In a mixing bowl, combine the greens, avocado, tomatoes, onions, and herbs. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and gently toss. -
Serve:
Plate the whole grilled fish with salad on the side. Optionally garnish with extra lemon wedges.
